Fox Corp on Monday named Anjali Sud, the previous longtime head of video-sharing platform Vimeo, because the chief govt of its streaming service Tubi.
Sud just lately stepped down because the CEO of Vimeo, after about 9 years on the streaming platform. She is going to report into Tubi Media Group CEO Paul Cheesbrough.
Earlier than Vimeo, Sud held positions in finance, media and e-commerce at Time Warner and Amazon.com.
Sud, who will take over on Sept. 1, succeeds Farhad Massoudi, Tubi’s founder and chief govt.
Fox shares have been marginally larger on Monday, having reversed course from earlier within the day.
In a restructuring in April, Fox created Tubi Media Group to deal with the streaming service together with a few of Fox’s information, sports activities and leisure digital platforms.
On the time, Fox introduced Massoudi’s plan to step down, and the appointment of Cheesbrough to steer the newly created unit.
Fox had acquired Tubi for $440 million in 2020.
