Actor Michael Gambon, recognized for taking part in Professor Albus Dumbledore in a number of “Harry Potter” motion pictures has died, his household stated in a press release Thursday.
He was 82.
“We’re devastated to announce the lack of Sir Michael Gambon,” stated the assertion issued on behalf of his spouse Anne Gambon and son Fergus by publicist Clair Dobbs.
It added that he “died peacefully in hospital,” following a bout of pneumonia with the pair at his bedside.
“We ask that you just respect our privateness at this painful time and thanks on your messages of help and love,” the assertion added.
