Amazon mentioned Thursday John Felton, the corporate’s high logistics govt, will take over as chief monetary officer of its AWS cloud computing unit.
In a weblog publish, Doug Herrington, Amazon’s worldwide retail chief, mentioned Felton would tackle a brand new function as senior vice chairman and Amazon Internet Providers CFO. Udit Madan, Amazon’s vice chairman of transportation, will substitute Felton.

Felton will substitute AWS’ present CFO Richard Puccio. The Wall Road Journal reported Puccio intends to depart the corporate, citing individuals aware of the matter. An Amazon spokesperson did not instantly reply to a request for remark.
The management shakeup comes as AWS’ development fee has slowed in current quarters as some purchasers pulled again their spending because of excessive inflation and broader issues in regards to the financial system.
