The Gautam Buddh Nagar police stated on Saturday that restrictions underneath Code of Legal Process (CrPC) Part 144 might be invoked throughout Noida and Better Noida from January 21 to 26. The order was issued within the wake of the consecration ceremony on the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 and the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.

In Lucknow too, Upendra Kumar Agarwal , the Joint Commissioner of Police, stated prohibitory order had been issued utilizing the powers granted underneath Part 144 CrPC, “in view of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony on January 22, Republic Day and upcoming festivals”.
