Alphabet’s board mentioned Thursday the corporate would subject a 20 cent per share dividend, the corporate’s first ever, and had licensed the repurchase of as much as $70 billion shares.
The corporate’s transfer comes after Meta’s board licensed its first ever dividend in February. Google’s mum or dad firm had $108 billion in money and marketable securities available as of March 31, 2024.
