NEW DELHI:Microsoft on Tuesday introduced a $1.5 billion funding within the UAE-based synthetic intelligence (AI) know-how firm, G42.
Each firms may also help the institution of a $1 billion fund for builders.
The funding will strengthen collaboration on bringing the most recent Microsoft AI applied sciences and skilling initiatives to the UAE and different international locations around the globe.
As a part of this partnership, Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, will be a part of the G42 Board of Administrators, the businesses stated in an announcement.
“This partnership is a testomony to the shared values and aspirations for progress, fostering better cooperation and synergy globally,” stated H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of G42.
G42 and Microsoft may also work collectively to carry superior AI and digital infrastructure to international locations within the Center East, Central Asia, and Africa.
