NEW DELHI: Samsung Electronics’s automotive and audio electronics subsidiary Harman on Monday stated that in a current raid, its investigation workforce, together with regulation enforcement officers, seized shares of faux JBL client merchandise from automotive equipment outlets in 5 places throughout Kashmiri Gate within the nationwide capital.
The workforce confiscated totalling 54 counterfeit JBL automotive audio system from these outlets.
“We’re pursuing rigorous authorized actions towards people engaged within the sale of those counterfeit merchandise. It’s essential for our shoppers to be vigilant and purchase merchandise from authorised retailers. We are going to proceed these investigations to suppress the sale of such merchandise throughout India,” Vikram Kher, Vice President, Way of life, Harman India, stated in a press release.
The corporate stated that it has taken applicable felony motion towards these offenders and intends to proceed such investigations to curb the manufacturing and promoting of counterfeit merchandise throughout the nation.
Advising the shoppers, the corporate advised methods to establish a counterfeit JBL product, through which it talked about inspecting the packaging and emblem placement/color.
“Sometimes, the packaging is manufactured from flimsy materials, lacking key particulars resembling certifications, place of manufacture, handle, and trademark/copyright data. The emblem placement is barely off and the color doesn’t match the real emblem.”
The bundle/product could also be light-weight, odor of chemical substances, or have chipped paint, the corporate added.
