Irwin, who joined Twitter in June 2022, took over as head of the belief and security crew in November when earlier head Yoel Roth resigned. She oversaw content material moderation.

Irwin’s departure comes because the platform has struggled to retain advertisers, with manufacturers cautious of showing subsequent to unsuitable content material.
